[There is a small bit of rustling, but it subsides.]
I would like to make a note that these contraptions are new to me. Seems clear that I am to save entries here, as I've been unable to remove the device itself. I will admit that putting it on was a very embarrassing mistake.
Though I am sure there is no need for am introduction, others call me Jade. I have the feeling that I may have been at this hotel before, though it is a bit early to make a clear decision.
[A soft snap sounds, followed by a small sizzle, then silence.]
Notable differences: the last time I was here - if indeed this is the same location - I was not allowed to access any of my abilities. Moments ago, I managed to light a candle with my finger.
The note left behind is inconsistent with what I've seen before. Never has the Hotel assigned a Majordomo for my use. I have had maids and the like, normally other patrons under the Hotel's spell or at its whim. The man pictured appears to genuinely work here.
The phones, again, are new. During my previous visit, there were bare minimum technologies afforded to us. I am suspicious, even as I record this message. ...is it pronounced OR-OH-LOW-GEE-OH? I hope that is correct. These aren't much different from the ones that exist where I have traveled from, perhaps a bit older. Navigating through the system was simple enough.
During my last little 'vacation', if it could be called such a thing, there was no way to tell how much time was passing. I intend to take full advantage of this option for a bit of interdimensional study. I am not sure if I can trust the date and time listed, but I have been able to determine that the passage of time on the clock does match the increments of Earth.
Still, it's quite clear that I am not in same world I went to bed in last night. Again. My slaves are gone, I am fully dressed and carry very few possessions. Patrons used to tell me during the last visit that they had been summoned multiple times. I am clueless as to the selection process - all that I can say is that I will not be wasting as much time in wonder and caution. Surely there must be others.
[A small bit of fumbling happens before the recording ends.]
